The Next Steps

You have taken a huge step towards the most important financial event of your life! You are closer than ever to being able to exit your business. Here's what to expect next:

  • Decide if you want to have a Non-Disclosure Agreement in place before the start of the meeting. Remember that everything we discuss is strictly confidental. 
  • Please have your most recent profit and loss statement available. This is important as it allows us to start the valuation process.

If you prefer to speak with somebody on the telephone, you may call my office at (602) 926-0191.  Someone will take your call and will collect information from you regarding your business. They are knowledgeable but do not have the answers for every question. My office is located in Arizona so please keep that in mind.


Sometimes, everyone is on a call so we cannot answer right away. If we do not answer, please leave a message with your name and phone number. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Questions for You

It's always best to make sure that everyone is as prepared as possible. We ask a lot of questions because we want to get to know you and your business better. Throughout the whole process, we are transparent. Below, you can find all of the questions we usually ask.

  • What is the name and legal structure of your company?
  • Where is the business based?
  • How much revenue did the company generate within the last 3 years?
  • Why are you looking to sell the business? 
  • What would your ideal exit scenario be?
  • What price were you thinking of?
  • How many shareholders does the business have?
  • How many employees do you have?
  • Is there someone within the business that we could work with once you’ve exited?
  • What are the company’s key challenges?
  • Do you have any outstanding debt? If so, what kind of creditors and how is the debt secured?
  • Does the business have any significant assets?
  • Is there anything else you could think of as interesting or important with regards to this business?
